F°LAB Festival for Performing Arts – A Festival in Constant Motion
The Frankfurt LAB is a space for exchange among artistic genres, established and emerging artists, audiences, and producers. The festival presents a multi-faceted, interdisciplinary program over the course of a few days, bringing together the synergies of renowned partners and facilitating exchanges between amateurs, students, and schoolchildren with internationally established artists. In previously unexplored constellations and unconventional collaborations, artists from all disciplines create a platform for reconnection.
Building upon the already established visual identity of the festival, we developed a new animated key visual that is part of a design principle where various elements continuously form new configurations. It’s a visual identity that, like the festival itself, is in constant motion.

The festival takes place biennially in collaboration with its partner institutions: the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, Ensemble Modern, Hessische Theaterakademie, Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, and Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, as well as the associated International Ensemble Modern Academy.
